Study Programme
Arias and ensembles from the Bel Canto Repertoire, with particular attention to the operas of Donizetti, Rossini, Bellini and Verdi. Masterclasses will be held by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa from the 27th June-1st July, and Sir Thomas Allen from the 11th-16th of July, both in Castiglione della Pescaia.
Performances and concerts
Throughout the Accademia there will be opportunities for informal concerts and recitals. The final concerts will be a free public concert held on the 15th of July in Piazza Solti, Castiglione della Pescaia, and on the 16th of July there will be an invitation only concert and dinner hosted by Alain Ducasse and Vittorio Moretti at the Andana Hotel, Castiglione della Pescaia.
Besides these 2 final concerts in Castiglione, there will be concerts on the 2nd of July at the Castello di Colle Massari, Cinigiano, on the 9th of July at Relais Vedetta, Scarlino, and on the 17th of July we will be doing a concert in benefit of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in the Teatro Romano Fiesole.
